QUESTION:
Who can be an Executor ?

ANSWER:
Any adult person can be an executor. A minor can be appointed executor but cannot act as such until he or she attains the age of 21 years. In certain cases, the Court has a discretion as to whether it will allow an executor to act, if he is of a bad character. Not more than 4 executors may be appointed in respect of the same property.
